Investing in Tomorrow:
Empowering our employees through education
We believe that education, training and sustainability go hand in hand and have been key to our progress. Through the development of our own training department and textile vocational education center, we provide ongoing training led by internal and external experts.
Our Partnerships
EMESSA provides regular training from line workers to middle management to understand sustainability principles and reinforce our company culture. To empower younger generations, we maintain ongoing collaborations and share our knowledge with students, young employees, partners and international organizations:
The EMESSA Training Center:
Our Case Study of Empowerment
In partnership with DEG (German Cooperation), EMESSA invested in a transformative initiative from 2020 to 2023 focused on developing our employees and optimizing production processes. Our goal was to implement training programs centered on People, Planet, Product and Prosperity – which create further impact on our business and operations.
With a special focus on empowering women and young people, we are committed to a model of responsible inclusion. Through our specialized training programs and inclusive performance evaluation system, we have successfully promoted our female employees, who make up 65% of our workforce, to leadership positions. We are proud to announce that 50% of our management positions are now held by women. Overall, raising the educational level of our workforce has significantly improved EMESSA’s performance and development.
Building Skills and Futures:
EMESSA’s Training Triumph
The EMESSA training program has been a powerful force in shaping the future of our company. It has enhanced the skills of our employees and significantly improved our overall operational efficiency and performance. Our development of a textile vocational training center ensures long-term access to a skilled workforce and the empowerment of our young employees.
